The residency is held on land undergoing massive eco-restoration, which includes the planting of a regenerative food forest. Designer Aaron Björk and I designed a new logo and developed a system rebrand for the residency program.&nbsp; Logo design︎︎︎The themes of regenerative agriculture and community-building were thoughtfully considered in the design process, and the final design allows them to subtly shine through. The logo was designed using the typeface Parabole, combining the Display and Text fonts, to provide a timeless, yet relevant logo that appeals to the forward-thinking nature of the residency. &nbsp; The logo exists in three forms: wordmark, stacked, and lettermark. Could its contents become 3D or interactive beyond the flipping of a page?Through the use of creative coding, the viewer is given the opportunity to create their own journey in the space; unlike the traditional experience of a book. Photographers can document their days and experiences, through their travels, relationships or merely a fascination of the mundane. Selected spreads of exhibition book︎︎︎The book’s sequencing begins with an essay on the photo diary aesthetic, followed by artist sections curated to feel like the viewer is flipping through a scrapbook.
