Outer Echoes 

Visual Identity, Logo Design, Brand Collateral


Outer Echoes is an artist residency program based in Montana. The residency is held on land undergoing massive eco-restoration, which includes the planting of a regenerative food forest. Designer Aaron Björk and I designed a new logo and developed a system rebrand for the residency program. 


Logo design︎︎︎
The themes of regenerative agriculture and community-building were thoughtfully considered in the design process, and the final design allows them to subtly shine through.

The logo was designed using the typeface Parabole, combining the Display and Text fonts, to provide a timeless, yet relevant logo that appeals to the forward-thinking nature of the residency.  


The logo exists in three forms: wordmark, stacked, and lettermark. For the wordmark, we've included the state abbreviation 'MT' to highlight the location of the residency.

The social media posts are dynamic in design by utilizing the logo type as image, motion design, and imagery spotlighting Montana's landscape. 




Brand Collateral︎︎︎ 
We designed additional applications specific to Outer Echoes’ needs including a brand deck, badge and lanyards, business cards, and calendars.







Apparel︎︎︎
As the program grows, I wanted to prepare apparel pieces that speak to the brand’s vision and can be sold following the first season of the residency. The first launch will offer two colorways of sweatshirts, t-shirts, tote bags, and refillable water bottles.
